I want a guitar, damn it...

… they were so cool … in fact the coolest thing I'd ever seen … my mother always said I'm never serious about any thing … if you want to play guitar, save your money and buy one… I went out and earned enough cash to buy my first guitar, which was an SG copy... I created my own little world and just kept to myself … I knew right from the start I liked the music hard and heavy … bands like Kiss, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Steppenwolf, Judas Priest, all had guitar hero’s …

...I always just played along to albums … that was so cool … close the door, hit the black lights and go totally into Zen … I guess I’m lazy … that’s what I‘ve been told … I never got focused … I just kept jamming over them freakin albums … I never spent the time to learn other bands music ... it was too time consuming … even though I was a music fanatic and it gave me great feeling… it never transcended into my playing … some people play an instrument by feel/ear and never learn to read or write music … it was said that if you make this transformation from feel to theory, it's all over … so I held up my finger in defiance and created my own unique style …
